Bug Catcher and Vase
An attractive, humane and chemical-free solution to the problem
of unwanted flying insect guests. Simply fill the internal moat
with sugar water or any sweet liquid. Wasps, yellow-jackets, hornets,
mosquitoes, flies and other pests are enticed inside through a pyramid-shaped
hole in the bottom. Removing the colored glass leaf-shaped stopper
allows you to release the insects later if you choose to do so.
The Bug Catcher can be
used outdoors when dining, or indoors when doors and windows are
open. Made from recycled Spanish "green" glass, the Catcher
has thick walls and is almost shatterproof. Patterned after an antique
in a 1792 Dutch oil painting, our Bug Catcher can also be used as
an attractive vase when not in service.
