Red Drummond Phlox (Phlox drummondii)
Native to Texas, this sweetly scented, bright red flower provides
a profusion of blooms. The word "phlox" is derived from
the Greek word for flame. Phlox leaves, made into a tea, are a folk
cure for upset stomach.
